FAQs

We hope to answer common questions for your personal injury accidents. Of course each case is unique and every persona an individual but please see below to assist you further.

How much is my claim worth?

Every claim for compensation depends on the extent of your injuries and whether you have made a full recovery or not. One of our specialist team will advise you about the type of compensation you might get.

In addition to compensation for your injuries, you may be able to recover compensation for your lost wages. If, as a result of an accident, you are unable to work in the future, then you may be awarded a figure in respect of your future loss of earnings.

How long will it take?

This largely depends on the severity of your injuries and how long it takes for you to make a recovery. If you make a full recovery from your injury within a few months of the accident we will aim to resolve your case in under 6 months from the date of the accident. However settlement times will vary and very much depend on the extent of the injury sustained and how long you take to recover.

Some insurance companies will make a "pre medical report" offer to settle your claim. This is a settlement without the need for you to be medically examined. Whilst in these situations we cannot fully advise you of your claim, if you have only suffered a short period of time these types of settlement could mean your case could be concluded from start to finish in a matter of weeks.

In cases of serious injury where there is permanent disability, it may take longer to finalise settlement of your claim. However, in this case, it may be possible to apply for an interim payment on account of the final award.
